National Bricklaying Competition

SPONSORED BY:

What is it?

Bricklaying is a fundamental skill and an essential part of construction. Bricklayers work on a wide range of projects, from homes to large commercial buildings, including the walls that surround them.

The occupation requires the ability to read and follow building design plans, take accurate measurements, and construct structures in compliance with architectural specifications and local government regulations. Building homes and commercial projects to the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and skill is a key responsibility. Success in this trade also depends on carrying out work with professional bricklaying skills and consistent attention to detail.
